Progress Questions

What are the most important results I obtained the last week?

I now need to read three or four books for my dissertation. I will finish reading Pine since I started it and then decide on two horror books to help me write. I already have Peter Pan and Lost Boy as my other two picks.

Did I deviate from the planning of the last week? If so, why?

Honestly, at this point, there is no plan. Just chaos and fairy dust.

What are my most important goals for the coming week?

Decide on the horror books and get as many of my other class assessments out of the way as possible. If I can get the upcoming assessments for Creative Writing and Journalism Analysis out the way or at least started, I can focus more on doing the Lit Review for the dissertation.

Personally, I also want to try and get my Fiverr account and Blog promoted and running a bit more. I hope to start getting in some money or traffic so it will be easier to leave the University in April/May 2024. I will email Ringwood Publishing for advice on Proofreading and fixing the Fiverr gigs and pages. Since I’m at the Farm next week, I’ll have the time and no interruptions.

I’ve also taken Instagram off my phone, and I’m muting YouTube from now on. I’m getting too lost in YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.

What do I have to do to meet these goals?

Stay off my phone and make a plan. I’ll spend Tuesday Afternoon/Evening doing up a plan once I get settled at the farm. It will be an easy way to spend the evening. Then, I can schedule each day on my planner, making organisation easier.

What can I do to overcome any hurdles on the way?

I’m so afraid of burnout that I do anything other than the task. So, I think making a schedule and removing/muting distracting apps on my phone will help. I’m also going to fix up and use the Forest app more.

Grounding Questions

What has been your most significant achievement this week?

I got my sleep routine somewhat back! I’m so happy.

What has been your biggest obstacle this week?

My phone, but hopefully now, things will get easier with everything off of it.

What are you concerned about for next week?

Getting the assessments done or started. I feel like once I start them, I’ll get all confused and anxious.

What are you excited about for next week?

I’m excited about going to the farm. Even though there are nerves, I know it’s just the moving of my stuff and new sleeping arrangements. Once I’m there, I’m fine. I enjoy going over and staying. Having all this space to myself is peaceful, and I do not hear anyone else. Plus, if anyone is coming over, I know beforehand to plan it into my day.

What made you smile this week?

Putting my room back together. I have the pouffe in the wrong place as I had Chewy sitting with me a lot at the desk. I forgot how much I love having it the way it is.

What has been your favourite song(s) this week?

Hope To See You Again by Antent

What has been your favourite photo(s) this week?

This one! It’s from today, which is CHEWY’S BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday, my wee boy!

Anything else you want to say?

I’m starting to feel a bit sleepy, and it’s only 1952, so I need to head and do my planner for tomorrow!
